A superb collection, particularly the monochrome images. Namibia certainly looks worth the trip.

Thank you and the monochrome images are my favourites. As the colours are so spectacular in Namibia I needed to have some in colour too. I fall in love with the country so I will be heading back this winter to photograph more.

Just for a fraction of a second, I thought that first photo is ice on the sea.
But I read the post title so, I was confused.
Than I look at it better. With my glasses.
    Good photos.
    Black & white kick ass!

These bring up such stories that want to be written.

I agree with you. These wrecks I saw made me feel very sorry for the people who arrived to this part of the country where no one can survive. The people were probably very happy to reach land and then there was nothing there, not water and no food…

Great shots! As regards the wrecks, I don’t know why, but your photos make me think of “The Drowned Giant” in “The Terminal Beach” by J. G. Ballard. Ciao!

Your images are phenomenal! I’ve been smitten with Namibia, and particularly the Skeleton Coast, for years, but have yet to go there. Namibia has been on the top five of my bucket list for years, but I think your blog just pushed it into first place. Thanks for sharing your beautiful images of this remarkable place.

I enjoyed the series. And must agree with previous comments….The B&W processing is great. It lends a mood that definitely adds to the story.

I enjoyed your B & W photos from Namibia. I follow this blog and also Petra 365. It looks like this blog hasn’t been active since this past summer. Did you live in Namibia? Well, I’m working my way through this blog’s archives. Really like you photography!!
